Ronda

I started my first collage book on a visit to a girlfriend’s apartment in Puerto Banus. After a visit to Ronda, I started to collect receipts and packaging to stick into a local ledger book in an attempt to improve my layout skills. Looking back at the book now, what I see are exotic logos and vernacular brands defiantly preparing for the onslaught of the global might of Nestle and Glaxo Smithkline. These locally imperfect identities, largely produced without the benefits of a formally trained designer, are part of what I hope to pay tribute to in this blog.
